Are you ready for more information on using NSTA's WebWatchers SciGuides? The "About the SciGuides" pages provide insight on navigating SciGuides and understanding their structure, how their content is aligned with the National Science Education Standards (NSES), and how the Internet resources contained in SciGuides were evaluated using Webwatchers rubrics.

We also provide instructional examples on how to use the URL resources within the SciGuides with your students, whether you have a one-computer classroom or access to a lab down the hall. At the theme level, each SciGuide contains specific lesson plans, vignettes, audio files, and student work samples. All of these resources illustrate how you might use them in the classroom; for example, you might use them to demonstrate a visual simulation of a difficult concept, collaborate with other students in virtual experiments, or complete or create a WebQuest.

The main sections of "About the SciGuides" are detailed in the links on the right. Select an area of interest to go to that section.
